À PROPOS
SAMPLE SLOW JEWELRY
Sample’s mission is to revive craftsmanship and make it accessible through an open workshop and creative experiences. Our team is passionate about sharing their expertise and passing on their know-how. Step into our world and explore a distinctive collection of timeless pieces in recycled sterling silver, gold-plated and solid gold, all handcrafted right here in our Brussels atelier‑boutique.
Passionate about jewelry and entrepreneurship, Nora wanted to launch her own concept and to create a tailor-made job for herself. A dream of craftsmanship, transparency and transmission, topped with modernity. Nora likes fashion that lasts you a lifetime, that is authentic and less about trends to follow at all costs.
Sample's artisans therefore create everyday jewelry pieces for you in their ateliers-boutiques. Or better yet, a piece of jewelry that the artisan that lies within you will hand make during a workshop.
Your first creation, sort of sample of the creativity that drives you. A place to see, make and assert yourself.

NOTRE DÉMARCHE
CRAFTSMANSHIP
We make every piece of jewelry you wear in our atelier-boutique. And there's nothing we love more than sharing our skills with you!
LOCAL
All our jewelry is made in our atelier-boutique in Brussels. We also chose to ship our creations to Belgium and France only.
RECYCLED METALS
We pay great attention to the origin of our metals. We are currently working with a Dutch supplier who guarantees that 100% of their metals come from recycling: jewelry, automobile sector, dentistry, electronics... not very sexy but way more ethical!
TRANSMISSION
Our jewelry is made to be worn every day and to last. Quality comes through our solid designs and noble materials: 925 silver, vermeil (18k gold plated) and 18k gold. Finally, repairability is very important to us! This is why all our jewelry has a lifetime guarantee.
INCLUSIVITY
We offer a range of sizes equal to the number of body types. The size of a ring, the length of a necklace, the diameter of a bracelet: everything can be adapted for you. Ask us!
TRANSPARENCY
Whether on socials or during our workshops, we share our manufacturing processes as well as our materials with you. No secrets between us!
NOTRE ÉQUIPE
Nora, founder
It was at the end of her management studies at ICHEC Brussels Management School that Nora discovered the world of Belgian designers. She then decided to study fine jewelry-making in Brussels and worked afterwards in a jewelry workshop for two years.
With both creative and managing skills, she decided to embark on an entrepreneurial adventure and founded Sample Slow Jewelry. In 2018, Nora started proposing refined creations that she made herself in her workshop. In 2020, she launched workshops to make your own ring and their success was almost immediate!
In 2021, she opened her first atelier-boutique in the Merode district and in 2023, her second one in the Châtelain district. Today, she has the chance and pride to make a living out of her passion, mainly thanks to you.
CLAIRE, communication manager
After a bachelor's degree in languages at UNamur and a master's degree in business communication at KU Leuven, Claire seeked to link her love for fashion with her future job.
Wishing to contribute to a positive impact company, she applied to become a communication manager for Sample in 2023.
It's the highly creative side of socials combined with classic communication that immediately appealed to her in this position.
Odile, first saleswoman
After two years spent as a socio-cultural animator, Odile wanted to immerse herself in another universe while maintaining human contact in her daily tasks. Fascinated by the world of craftsmanship, she found her place within the Sample team as first saleswoman. Her wish to contribute to a meaningful local project has now come true: Odile is your first contact when you push the doors of our atelier-boutique in Brussels!
Céline, joaillière
After a career as a graphic designer in the world of fashion and magazines, Céline wanted to reconnect with her manual side and distance herself from the digital world. As a result, she embarked on jewelry studies and discovered a passion for creating jewelry. For five years, she has been training with various techniques and continues to evolve as a creator and graphic designer. Today, Céline is a fine jewelry expert for Sample and helps you with your bespoke jewelry.
MATILDE, jewelry apprentice
After taking a gap year, between citizen service and reflection on her academic career, Matilde opted for a 3-year work-linked training in jewelry making at the EFP Uccle.
Being able to do manual work in a fashion sector convinced her to follow that path. As part of her training, she joined Sample as an apprentice jeweler and is now proud to be part of a team that shares the same values as hers. Meet Matilde during introductory workshops or in store!
TOMÁS, jeweler
After trying his hand at carpentry, Tomás decided to enroll at IATA in Namur in order to discover the world of jewelry.
The various techniques as well as the creative aspect of this profession immediately fascinated him.
Tomás joined the Sample team as a student two years ago and is now a graduated jeweler, handcrafting your jewelry with us three days a week!
CAMILLE, jewelry apprentice
After highschool, Camille decides to take a gap year during which she travels and volunteers as an animator in a primary school. Then, she begins translation-interpretation studies but quickly realizes that the creative and manual side is missing from her daily life. This is how she decided to start her jewelry training at the EFP in Brussels and join the Sample team as an apprentice. Meet Camille behind the workbench, during an initiation workshop or in-store, where she'll be happy to help you!
Erika, jewelry apprentice
After highschool, Erika initially pursued psychology, then e-commerce. These experiences allowed her to explore different fields before refocusing on what truly resonated with her: handcrafted creations. Having always been drawn to the arts, particularly through her training in art and computer graphics, she naturally gravitated towards jewelry making, a craft that combines precision, creativity and working with materials.
Today, Erika is in her first year of training at EFP, working part-time with the Sample team, where she's discovering the techniques and know-how of jewelry making, step by step.
