GUIDE DES TAILLES
Got your mind on a ring or bracelet but don't know your size?
We offer different methods to carry out at home or with professionals in order to take your size.
LES BAGUES
1. Measure an existing ring
If you already have a ring in the right size, you can measure its inner diameter. This is ideal if you want to surprise someone with a ring, you just have to borrow one of theirs! You can then check out the corresponding size in the following table.
2. Measure your finger size
You can measure the circumference of your finger with the paper technique. Cut a strip of paper the height of the desired ring so you have a non-stretchable material that can go around your finger. Roll up the paper around your finger and adjust it so that it's neither too tight nor too loose. Mark the crossing of the strip of paper around your finger and transfer it to a ruler. The resulting distance corresponds to the circumference of your finger, which you can report in this table.
3. Take your measurements at the atelier-boutique
Book an appointment in our opening hours & we'll be happy to help you take your measurements. We'll then keep them carefully so that we can communicate them to you at any time.

4. Go to a jeweler
Do you live too far from our ateliers-boutiques? Don't hesitate to contact the jeweler closest to you.
A final word : We all have different hands, which is why we have decided not to limit ourselves to classic size standards. All sizes are available at Sample Slow Jewelry. When taking your measurements, keep in mind that each finger varies in size and that sizes also vary from hand to hand. If you are right-handed, your hand will probably be more muscular and therefore your finger sizes will be larger. Finally, if you have marked knuckles, take your measurement at the knuckle level to be sure you can put on your ring easily.
However, if you are hesitating between 2 sizes, it is preferable to choose the larger one.
LES BRACELETS
1. CHAIN BRACELETS
To measure your wrist size, take a non-stretchable string and wrap it around your wrist. Then measure the length on a ruler.
If you're unsure, adding 1 cm should be enough!
If you fall between two sizes, opt for the larger one.

2. RIGID OPEN BRACELETS
In the case of open rigid bracelets, we invite you to use the same method.
You can also measure the inside diameter of a bracelet you already have that is the correct size. Compare this diameter with the second column of the following table.
If you fall between two sizes, we advise you to opt for the larger one.

3. CLOSED RIGID BRACELETS
In the case of closed rigid bracelets, the method remains the same but the measurement point differs: the important thing is that the bracelet passes through the widest part of your hand.
To measure it, your thumb and pinky finger should touch each other.
Keep this position and then measure the widest part of your hand in that position by wrapping a non-stretchable string around it. Measure the length on a ruler and compare the result with the following table.
If you fall between two sizes, we advise you to opt for the larger one.
